Confession and Communion:

Next week is a special time in parishes for children to make their first Communion and
receive the Eucharist in the Catholic Church.

Before they do,  they go to confess their sins or as it is now called
receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

This picture depicts the priest having the power with the grace of the
Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ to absolve you from your sins.
