This came in the mail with an invitation to donate! And one way to make a difference is to donate money to organizations that help people. Make sure it is ligitimate. Donating time counts as well as good used items. Do you have a favorite charity? Do you volunteer? |

April is National Book Month:

Catholic Schools...
My grandfather donated the first $1000 to start a Catholic School
I attended a Catholic School.
My son attended Catholic school.
My daughter teaches in a Catholic School.
My grandchildren attended Catholic School.
Am I partial? Yes, I think so and was also
honored to be invited to talk to the upper grade students of Good Shepard School
about the writing process..
I read a chapter from "Friends til Cows Wear Lipstick" with the 5th graders
and stayed on and read "Zen Ties" by John Murth to the kindergartens classes.
Each of the students received a copy of my children's books.
It was a wonderful afternoon.
