Proper handwashing has been found to be better
than the improper use of the gloves that can become easily contaminated.
Wash your hands well. This takes a conscience effort.
Make sure you scrub long enough as well as between the fingers and up to the wrists.
I find that it's just the best time for me personally to say my "Hail Mary's!"
Some people sing Happy Birthday. This gives you an idea of the length of time it takes of having friction between the hands.
Nurses...well, we usually wash our hands before and after we go to the bathroom!!
