Here is the mother of Christ. When our children suffer, we too have an indescribable ache in our hearts. Many of us...too many of us know that ache. The number of children who are molested before the age of 18. One in three girls and one in five boys. THEY have mothers...who suffer when they know this has happened to their child.
Do they ever forget? No!
A mother who knows and understands is our Blessed Mother given to us by Jesus himself as He hung on the cross.
Thank you, Jesus. Since my real mom is deceased now I often (daily) turn to her and ask for comfort and consolation for all those who are suffering in any way from the impact of sexual abuse.
God bless you in your journey of healing and recovery. Keep hopeful as you deal with this trauma and help someone else along the way.
