An Excerpt:



Lost in Space was on television when, with an astounding 
contraction, my labor started. Forty minutes later another
came like a charley horse in my belly and then at thirty minutes,
during Sea Hunt. When they were a jolting twenty minutes 
apart and stronger, I called the base for instructions. We left
the house when Johnny Carson finished his last interview. On
the way my belly tightened into a hard ball, so I blew out my 
air and concentrated on my imperfect breath. It was difficult
holding back my sighs but I handled it because I promised...
